How do I prevent readers from thinking I'm denying the Holocaust?

In my story, a group of gods do math to determine that there wasn't enough magic in the world to summon all the god killing abominations that are claimed exist. To me, this seems reminiscent of people doing math to prove the Nazis didn't kill anyone. How do I show that I believe in the Holocaust in my fantasy epic that takes place before WW2?
